Getting There

Travel & Stay

Hanalei is worth the journey. Here is everything we know to make it easy.

Fly

Into Lihuʻe

Kauaʻi’s main airport is Lihuʻe International Airport (LIH). From there, it’s about a 50-minute drive to Hanalei.

Rent a Car

Getting around

Taxis and ride shares are available, but we recommend renting a car if you would like to explore the island.

Stay

Room block

Our room block is at 1 Hotel Hanalei, a beautiful spot right on the bay and truly a special-occasion kind of place (with the prices to match…). We’ve arranged a group rate of about 50% off their usual nightly price, so this is the perfect excuse to experience it.

We’ve secured a special rate of $XX per night, from XX through Sunday, September 26. Rooms are guaranteed at this rate until our block fills or the booking deadline passes, so we kindly encourage you to book early!

Want to extend your stay? XX

To book an extended stay, upgrade your room, or request a specific layout, please contact the XX team directly at [email protected] or 1 (808) 000-0000.

Book by date to receive the group rate.

We know everyone has their own hotel preferences and budgets, and Princeville has something for every taste if you’d like to explore other hotel options!

Vacation rentals

If you’d rather go the vacation rental route, there are a handful throughout the north shore of Kauaʻi. Makana Kauai Properties manages many great ones in the area, and we’ve secured a discount code for 10% off for all guests.

Closest to the venue

Hanalei

All properties are steps from the bay.

Above the bay

Princeville

Near the hotels, a 15-minute drive to the venue and often a bit more affordable.

Off the beaten path

Haʻena

Toward the other end of the bay, a 20-minute drive to the venue. Great for folks who want to be closer to the Na Pali Coast hikes.

Prefer something else? There are plenty of other options hosted on Airbnb, too. We haven’t stayed there ourselves yet, but we’ve heard good things about Hanalei River Cottages.

Good to Know

A few travel notes

Hanalei books up early, and we’d love for everyone to be on this side of the island for the weekend, so please reserve your room or rental as soon as you can.

If you’re able to make a full trip of it, stay two nights with us at 1 Hotel Hanalei, then book a rental elsewhere for a different view of Kauaʻi!
